In addition to our automated technology analysis, we have a proven track record of accelerating loan pre-payments to provide increased returns and liquidity, as well as reduce the portfolio’s overall risk profile. This ensures a superior outcome to the traditional “wait and see” approach.
The key elements of the service are:
- Identify property addresses and borrowers within an RMBS issuance.
- Determine the value of the underlying property collateral and identify any additional 2nd mortgages on the properties.
- Analyze each individual loan to determine re-underwriting options (part of the base SMART technology), including balance shortfall conversion options for over-equity loans.
- Proprietary borrower contact and sales process that does not require the involvement of the loan servicer.
Ongoing Portfolio Monitoring
In addition to the loan workout services, we are able to provide ongoing portfolio management services:
- Update property valuations on a monthly basis including liquidation timelines for foreclosure properties.
- Update credit profile of a given portfolio to predictive modeling on default and loss severity rates.
- Maintain contact with borrowers to increase loan pre-payment rates.
- Investors and portfolio owners have the option to re-sell the portfolio at an even greater gain once “toxic” elements have been removed.
